Physiotherapy assessment
A full history, a careful examination and a clear explanation of what's going on, with treatment started on the day.
- Back, neck and joint pain
- Sports and running injuries
- Written plan and home exercises
Everyone who treats you here is a chartered physiotherapist or an occupational therapist registered with CORU. You don't need a GP referral to see us, though we're always glad to write to your GP or consultant.
Fees are per session and payable on the day by card or contactless. We'll always tell you the cost before anything new is added to your plan.
A full history, a careful examination and a clear explanation of what's going on, with treatment started on the day.
Hands-on treatment, progressed exercise and an honest check that things are moving in the right direction.
Structured rehabilitation after joint replacement, ACL reconstruction, shoulder repair or spinal surgery, following your surgeon's protocol.
Physiotherapist-led mat and reformer classes of six or fewer, after a one-to-one assessment.
Firm, targeted massage for recovery, heavy training weeks and stubborn tightness, from a chartered physiotherapist.
A practical plan for getting back to work after injury, illness or burnout, agreed with you and, if you wish, your employer.
Rehabilitation after fractures, tendon injuries and hand surgery, and practical help for arthritic hands.
We visit at home to look at stairs, bathrooms and daily routines, then suggest simple changes that help people stay independent.
Book online, by phone or by email. Tell us roughly what's wrong and we'll match you with the right therapist.
Wear something you can move in, and shorts if it's a knee or hip. Bring any scans, letters or a list of your medications.
We listen first, then examine and explain what we've found. Treatment usually starts in that same session.
You'll get exercises with short videos sent to your phone, an idea of how many sessions to expect, and a receipt for your insurer.
Most Irish health insurance plans refund part of each physiotherapy visit as an outpatient benefit. You pay us on the day and claim it back, and our receipts carry everything your insurer asks for, including CORU registration numbers.
How much you get back depends on your plan and any excess. Your policy documents or your insurer's app will show your outpatient benefit for physiotherapy.
No. Chartered physiotherapists and occupational therapists in Ireland can see you directly. A few insurance plans ask for a GP referral before they pay out, so it's worth checking yours.
It depends on the problem, but we'll give you an honest estimate at the end of your first visit. Many people need somewhere between three and six sessions, spaced further apart as they improve.
Physiotherapy recommended by a doctor generally qualifies for tax relief at 20% on whatever your insurer doesn't cover. You claim it through Revenue's myAccount, so hold on to your receipts.
Please give us 24 hours' notice so someone else can have the slot. Late cancellations and missed appointments are charged in full, unless something genuinely unexpected came up.
Several of our physiotherapists are trained in dry needling and use it alongside exercise when it suits the problem. It's always your choice, and never the whole treatment.
