There are five of us, so you'll usually see the same person each time. Our physiotherapists and occupational therapist are registered with CORU, Ireland's regulator for health and social care professionals, and keep their training up to date every year.

From the practice director
We wanted a practice where nobody feels hurried
So many people tell us the same story: a ten-minute appointment, a printout of exercises and a sense that nobody had really listened. Rowan Quay is built the other way round. First visits are 45 minutes, and we never book someone in for treatment they don't need.
My job is to make sure everything around the therapists runs smoothly, from bookings and receipts to the Pilates timetable, so they can give you their full attention. BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy (UL), MISCP, CORU registered
Twelve years in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with a soft spot for runners and stubborn tendons. Has run the Cork City Marathon three times.

Chartered Physiotherapist
MSc Sports & Exercise Medicine (UCC), MISCP, CORU registered
Looks after hurling, rugby and rowing injuries and gives most of our sports massage. Spent four seasons as physio to a senior club hurling team.

Chartered Physiotherapist & Clinical Pilates Lead
BSc Physiotherapy (TCD), MISCP, APPI Pilates, CORU registered
Runs our Pilates programme and the pre and postnatal classes. Particularly interested in back pain, pregnancy-related pelvic pain and helping people move with confidence.

BSc Occupational Therapy (UCC), CORU registered, member of AOTI
Leads our hand therapy and home assessments, and helps people plan a realistic return to work. Visits clients across the city, Douglas and Blackrock.
